Skyline Drive is a 105-mile National Parkway that runs the entire length of the National Park Service's Shenandoah National Park in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, generally along the ridge of the mountains. 

The Swift Run Gap entrance is only 11.2 Miles east of Massanutten and heads north through Shenandoah National Park, and also south until it changes to the Blue Ridge Parkway with tons of hiking in both directions!
